Can I get these light bulbs from anywhere?
All the light bulbs used in our fittings are widely available at most supermarkets.
What type of bulb is an ES bulb or SES bulb?
ES refers to Edison screw. This type of bulb screws into the fitting before it makes a connection. The SES has a smaller screw head hence called the small Edison screw.
The vast majority of lights supplied are designed with a bracket which is fitted to the ceiling/wall. Then the electrical connection is made after which the light is attached by a screw which attaches the light body to the light bracket.
What do I do if there is a shade broken when the fitting has been delivered?
Please contact the customer service department supported with a digital image of the shade. We will then replace the shade or fitting depending on type of damage sustained.
Can I use any type of dimmer switch with my light?
On all normal 240v supply lights you are able to use a standard type dimmer switch, however where there is low voltage lighting concern you have to use a different type of dimmer.
Low voltage lighting requires a trailing edge dimmer or an inductive dimmer.
What happens if the wrong dimmer is used?
If you use a standard dimmer on a low voltage light then the follow may happen
- The light will flicker
- Dimmer makes a buzzing noise
- The light’s transformer makes a buzzing noise.
- The light fitting stops working after a short period of time
