Terms And Conditions

Consumer: Any person who buys Goods from us for purposes which are outside their trade, business or profession.

Goods: The lighting and equipment products sold by us to you including packaging, manuals and any other ancillary components or documents.

Conditions: Means the terms and conditions of sale set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by us. These terms and conditions apply only to products ordered and paid for through this website.

PRODUCT

All Interiors2u Goods are produced to the European and British quality and safety standard specification and comply with current legislation. Measurements and wattages are given as a guide and may vary, please check the product literature supplied with the Goods. All our prices are inclusive of VAT and exclude the price of delivery. Please note: on commercial lighting due to the variety of light bulbs available, unless otherwise stated these light bulbs are purchased separately. Images are for illustration purposes only, and all product information is supplied by the manufacturer, hence interiors2u.co.uk cannot be held responsible on the accuracy of this information

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Goods are available for despatch within 3-4 workings days of receipt of order. Goods that are out of stock may take up to 14 working days of receipt of order. In the unlikely event of Goods taking longer than the 14 working day period you will be contacted by our Customer Services and given the option to cancel without penalty.

DELIVERY

All orders over £250 (Inc VAT) will be delivered free of charge anywhere in mainland Great Britain. Any orders less than £250 (Inc VAT) will be subject to a delivery Charge. For all other destinations please email: sales@interiors2u.co.uk for a quotation. Your order will be processed right away. Goods that are in stock will be dispatched the same day providing the order is received before 12noon. Goods that are out of stock may take up to 14 working days from receipt of order. In the unlikely event of Goods taking longer than the 14 working day period you will be contacted by customer services and given the option to cancel without penalty. Goods supplied within the UK will normally be delivered within 3-5 workings days of acceptance of order. If the agreed delivery date cannot be met, you will be notified and given the opportunity to agree a new delivery date or cancel the order. Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm, excluding any Bank or National Holidays. If no one is available to take delivery from our couriers, a calling card will be left. If you do not contact the courier, a further two delivery attempts will be made. If the courier is still unable to deliver after this point the Goods will be returned to Interiors2u. Please note you are required to examine your Goods at point of delivery and sign 'received in good condition'. If the package is damaged please sign delivery paperwork 'accepted package damaged' or if you so wish refuse the delivery. If signed for in good condition we will subsequently not refund or pay for collection of the goods. Please always check your goods on delivery or sign for unexamined. If you require re-delivery, Interiors2u reserve the right to charge these additional shipping costs. Should you wish to cancel the order at this point, Interiors2u reserve the right to deduct from any refund the cost of the initial delivery charge plus extraneous costs incurred as a result of the Goods being returned to Interiors2u. Interiors2u will not debit your payment card until we have the Goods ready to be dispatched.

BACK ORDERS AND SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

Goods that are temporarily out of stock should be dispatched within 14 working days. If there is any further delay you will be notified and given the option to cancel. Some of our more exclusive products may only be available as a Special Order, this will be stipulated. Every effort will be made to deliver these orders within the quoted delivery time however we are unable to guarantee dates. In such cases your normal cancellation rights still apply.

WARRANTY/GUARANTEE

Interiors2u guarantees all Goods (excluding light bulbs) for 1 year from the date of receipt against defective parts, materials and/or manufacture (Please see returns policy). A qualified and insured electrician must carry out installation of Goods otherwise this guarantee is void (proof of installation by an approved electrician shall be required). If Goods have become compromised as a result of misuse this warranty is void. After 7 working days from the date of delivery, Goods returned will be repaired or replaced dependant upon the nature of the fault. On certain occasions lights maybe put on test to evaluate and determine the nature of fault. Your statutory rights are not affected. Wallpaper warranties may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, therefore please read the reverse of the wallpaper label for information on what is covered by warranty. All wallpaper claims must be supported by the appropriate wallpaper labels.

RETURNS POLICY

1. ALL GOOD EXCEPT WALLPAPER

You must inform us in writing (letter, email or fax) within 7 days of the delivery of any goods to be returned, shortages, and any damaged or faulty goods. Interiors2u.co.uk is not responsible after this 7day period. The date of delivery will be as recorded by our carriers. Once we have your request for a return our customer services will give you an authorisation number. Goods without returns authorisation number will not be accepted. All Goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all other associated components sent with them such as lamps (light bulbs). Goods should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition. The cost of returning the Goods and insuring them against loss or damage will be deducted from the refund of the purchase price if a collection is arranged by us Interiors2u. Alternatively Goods can be sent back by your own method of transportation at your own cost. Your refund will be made within 14 days of return of the Goods.

2. RETURNS ON WALLPAPER

You must inform us in writing (letter, email or fax) within 7 days of the delivery of any shortages, any damaged or faulty goods. Due to the ever changing batch numbers we are unable to offer refunds on over ordered wallpaper .if you are not sure on quantities contact us with your room sizes and we will work it out on the dimensions supplied by customer. FAULTY GOODS

1. ALL GOODS EXCEPT WALLPAPER

Damages or faulty Goods will be replaced or refunded. Damaged or broken glass does not constitute faulty Goods. You must notify Interiors2u within 7 days of receipt (see Returns policy). Interiors2u are in no way responsible for any cost incurred due to faulty Goods or shortages such as electrician fees, time taken from place of employment etc. you maybe required digital images to establish the nature of the fault of the goods in question.

2. FAULTS IN WALLPAPER

All wallpaper claims/queries must be supported by the wallpaper label. Initially contact the customerservices@interiors2u.co.uk and discuss the fault. In all cases interiors2u will require the wallpaper labels and samples of the wallpaper queried. In some cases you maybe asked for digital images of the wallpaper. To establish any queried fault the wallpaper labels and samples will be sent to the manufacturer where they will analyze the samples. The manufacturer will deem the wallpaper as faulty or not. On a faulty conformation from the wallpaper manufacturer will result in a refund of the cost of the wallpaper applied to your account in 7 days. For help E-mail: returns@interiors2u.co.uk

CONTRACT

Scottish law governs any contract formed between the company and a customer. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with a contract shall be determined by Scottish Courts.

PRIVACY

Any personal data provided will be treated as confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. If you have chosen to receive the interiors2u Newsletter, interiors2u will use the information you submit to provide you with information on the services and products we offer, details of any new products or services, and information that may be of interest to you.

We also use your information to customise our products and services to attempt to serve you better, by providing more tailored products and services, and to help us understand your needs better.
